On business in the UK, I had one day and night to explore London. Two types of events I wanted to pursue: museums and pubs. I would take in a museum and then on the way to the next museum a refresher and conversation at a pub. Five museums and pubs later I felt I had accomplished all. Museums Museum Directory We visited stores and the British Museum (antiquities) and the Royal Academy of Arts (Picasso exhibit) Egyptian mummy Mayan literature Picasso's Bullfight ceramic Trafalgar Square home of the National Gallery of Art (Spectacular). This museum was my favorite as it has a vast array of art from every period. Although I spent 3 hours, it would take days to fully explore all that it has to offer. As you can see below the area is beautiful especially at night when the fountains are all aglow. Before heading back I stopped by a pub around the corner and engaged in some vigorous conversations with folks from Ireland, Whales and Britain.
