Built in 1998, is surrounded by 130' tall red and white fir trees and is within minutes of 5 major ski areas, Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe, with many recreation facilities .    Available for Nov, Thanksgiving & Early December.

Surroundings

• Located 3 miles from Donner Pass Rd and Northwoods Blvd intersection, close to Tahoe-Donner Ski area

• Private Beach on  Donner Lake, in the town of Truckee, and within 15 minutes of major ski, biking and hiking areas  (Northstar, Sugar Bowl, Squaw, Alpine)

• Cabin is situated at 6500’ elevation, among 130’ tall fir trees, back yard very private and forested

Tahoe-Donner Amenities (amenities are available to renters for a small fee per usage as guests – guest pass provided)

• Trout Creek Recreation Center: Full range of swimming pools, spas, steam and sauna, and exercise area, lockers.

• 2^nd Recreation Area: near association building provides swimming pool park, picnic and changing; restaurant

• Equestrian Center: Provides horse back riding and trails; snack bar  

• Cross-Country Center: Incredible trails; one of the best in the West

• Tennis Center: Tennis club and many courts

• Donner Lake Beach: Beach privileges, boat launch, changing rooms, snack bar; boat rentals

• 18-hole Championship Golf Course: Beautiful mountain course with restaurant, pro shop; fees are charged

• Ski Area: Less than 1 mile from cabin; hiking and biking

Recreation: The home is situated with easy access to all of the Lake Tahoe and High Sierra locations.   It is 3 miles to Donner Lake where there is a private beach, boat launching, boat rentals, showers and a hamburger, hotdog and sandwich shop for members and guests. The north shore of Lake Tahoe and the Nevada border are within 20 minutes.   It is within 10-15 minutes of Northstar, Squaw, Alpine, Sugar Bowl and Boreal ski and mountain bike areas.  It has two recreation centers with swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, an exercise room.  There is a tennis center and an equestrian center with horse back riding.  There is a ski bowl with lifts and a cross-country skiing center with some of the best trails in the West.  There is a restaurant and pub.  A championship 18 hole golf course with bar and cafe.   Some of the best high country hiking around - Crest trail, Donner Summit.  there is world renown trout fishing (Trout and Alder Creek, Truckee River).
