beautiful beaches in the world! The beach is
off a sand road in the direction of Cherokee.

The beach is sheltered from the
harsh seas by a coral reef, extends in a semi-circle for over 3 miles . . .
Snorkeling is fantastic - abundant
fish and conch. Taking the conch out of the shell is very tricky, but once out of
the shell it is great in salads (very chewy) and fried, as one might fry Calamari. Plan to
spend time on this great

Cherokee
is an old Loyalist settlement located 8 miles
south of Little Harbour.
The town is very small and the people
charming. You are greeted as you walk through the quaint assembly of colorful houses
set back from the windy Cherokee Bay. . . A number of abandoned homes from
loyalist settlement times still stand . . .

The shellman "prepares" a beautiful king conch shell for
visitors, while a curious neighbor peeks in . . .
