Christian Easter Celebration

There are a number of Christians in India, especially in the southern portions of India, Chennai to Trivandrum.  This celebration was taking place on the eve of Easter at midnight in the heart of Chennai.  A large dirt square was occupied by many family enclaves, who were eating picnic style and visiting the two churches on opposite sides of the square.  The Christians tend to keep their Christian names rather than Indian names related to the Indian Gods.
